Through the ARE 4.0 community, roughly 28,000 aspiring architects had access to prep videos, advice from architects who’ve taken the exam, and more. Plus, they can rest easy knowing that the accuracy of comments were vetted by expert moderators. The ARE 4.0 community was a great place for emerging professionals across the country to form study groups, pick up a few pointers, and share study tips.

Challenges
Aspiring architects had a small selection of trusted study materials and resources. Understanding this gap, NCARB decided to engage in discussions with experts and aspiring candidates preparing for their exam.
Results
At the heart of the community, members had access to seventeen test prep videos. With over 400,000 views, thousands of testers had exclusive insight into each exam.
The ARE 4.0 community is focused on one thing: help aspiring architects pass their ARE exams. By focusing on this goal, we built a scalable, self-sustaining community. Users instantly found value in the community and made a commitment to helping their peers. Within 48 hours of the community launch, we reach NCARB’s engagement and member goal of 10,000 community followers.
